Cheyenne Mallo approached me after her participation in the Mid America Print Council Conference at the University of Minnesota, 2010 to particpate in a post-MAPC print exchange. The theme was "Place."
I had been thinking a bit about this topic and thought it would be nice to express the similarities between Minneapolis, MN and Buffalo, NY - one my current home and Buffalo, my childhood home. The two cities had competing flour industries and I associate both locations with water. My life is effected by my locations, past and present.
